Labels: Smarter Campaign Organization at Scale

Labels: Smarter Campaign Organization at Scale

Simplify Campaign Management and Reporting

As accounts grow in size and complexity, managing campaigns individually becomes inefficient and time-consuming. Campaign Labels provide a flexible way to group campaigns together, without changing your account structure.

What Are Campaign Labels?

Labels allow advertisers to assign custom tags to campaigns and group them under shared categories. Once tagged, campaigns can be:
  1. Filtered instantly
  1. Edited in bulk
  1. Reported on collectively
Labels act as dynamic grouping logic across your account, fully customizable to your workflow.

Managing Campaign Labels

There are a few ways of creating Campaign Labels:
  1. Through Manage tab > Campaign Labels
  2. Through Campaign Create or Edit Mode
  3. Through Bulk Editing of Campaigns

Manage tab > Campaign Labels

  1. Navigate to the Manage tab in your account and select Campaign Labels.

  1. At the Campaign Labels page, click + Add New Label button, add a label name, then click Save. You would have to go to the Campaigns list to be able to apply the label to your campaign(s).

Campaign Create or Edit Mode

  1. Create a new campaign by clicking on the + Create New Campaign button in your account OR edit your existing campaign. The Campaign Label field is available in the Information section. Click on the + button next to it.

  1. Add a label name, then click Save. Your Campaign Label will then be available in the dropdown list.

Bulk Edit Campaigns

  1. Select the relevant campaigns to be labelled in your Campaigns tab, click on Actions button and selectin Bulk Edit Campaigns.

  1. At the Bulk Edit page, navigate to Campaign Labels and click on the + button. Create a label.

  1. Your new label will appear in the dropdown list. You may now select it and Apply to all campaigns selected.

  1. Click the Update Campaigns button.

  1. Once updated successfully, your selected campaigns will now be attached to the Campaign Label.

Alert
Note:
Only letters, numbers, dashes (-), underscores (_) and at signs (@) are allowed in the label name.

You can apply only one label to a campaign. If a new label is added to an already-labelled campaign, it will override the old one.

Key Benefits

Bulk Editing Made Easy

Instead of updating campaigns one by one, advertisers can:
  1. Select a preset list of campaigns with the Campaign Label filter
  2. Apply bid, budget, or targeting updates across all associated campaigns
  3. Reduce manual work and save time

Impact:
  1. Faster optimisation cycles
  2. Lower risk of human error
  3. More efficient campaign management

Simplified Reporting

Labels enable consolidated reporting across grouped campaigns. Advertisers can:
  1. Generate performance reports by Campaign Label

  1. Quickly view stats of grouped campaigns without manual exports

Impact:
  1. Faster insights
  2. Cleaner reporting workflows
  3. Better strategic visibility

More importantly, Campaign Labels do not require changes to campaign structure or naming conventions.

Campaign management now shifts from individual handling to strategic grouping, allowing you to move faster, optimize smarter and scale more efficiently.
