Guide to Create an Audience List

Guide to Create an Audience List

Maximizing your First-Party Data

Having an Audience List is useful for granular targeting or exclusion of
Device IDs collected.

For retargeting in Audience Lists, use {DEVICE_PLATFORM_ID} as your primary macro. This macro provides the unique OS-specific Advertising ID (iOS IDFA or Android GAID) and automatically adapts to the available format in the bid request (RAW, SHA1, or MD5).

This guide shows you how to create an Audience List with your data:

  • Go to the Audiences tab of your account.

  • In the Audience page, click on the + Create New Audience button. A link to a sample .csv file is provided for your reference as well.

  • Name the Audience list, then drag and drop or upload your .csv file into the field.

  • You will see the Audience Count once the file is uploaded. Click the Create Audience button.
  • Once created, the new list will appear in the Audience List page, where you have a holistic view of the Audience List size along with basic counts of the campaigns where the white / black lists are attached to. It will be in Processing status for some time and will move to Success when ready.

  • Your audience can be in Failed status because of the following reasons:
    • The file is not available for processing.
    • The file is corrupted or in an invalid format.
    • There is a system issue in processing the Device IDs in the file.

Please reach out to the Account Management team if you need help.
Info
The system needs time to process Audience Lists. Do check on the Status in the Audiences page.

There is a maximum of
100 million devices per file, with each file having a maximum 10MB size limit. If your file breaches any of the limits, please split the file and create a new one.

You can include multiple lists in your campaign setup and reuse audiences across multiple campaigns.
